    Other people's Ancestry trees reckon Mary was daughter of Edward Shardalow and Martha Wigg. And I think this is right now but I haven't changed it yet.

    Record says she is 31 at death so birth would have been 1797 by this

    There are other possibilities (eg an Elizabeth Fulcher born in Norwich in 1769) but this seems most likely as born in Corton. Elizabeth was married in Haddiscoe, gave birth to Sarah in Thurlton who married in Hopton. Hopton church is 1.4 miles from Corton church.
